Tuesday, March 26 2024, 4pm Special Collections Library, Room 271 Women's History Month Kellie Carter Jackson Africana Studies Wellesley College About Kellie Carter Jackson Every March, the Institute for Women's Studies coordinates and co-sponsors lectures, films, discussion panels, art exhibits, and more for Women’s History Month as well as publishes a poster highlighting those events. The keynote speech is the culminating event of Women's History month. This year's keynote will be presented by Dr. Kellie Carter Jackson, a nationally known historian, speaker and educator. Her talk is titled "We Refuse: Black Women and a History of Resistance."
