Hidden Histories: Educating Women in Athens, GA before 1919

This year we celebrate the centennial of UGA officially admitting women, but where did women get an education before that? Kristen will talk about her research into the Lucy Cobb Institute, as well as its sometimes troubled relationship to the University of Georgia, and then Fran will talk about what such history tells us about both institutions and ourselves.
