Lecturer, Romance Languages Dr. Ward teaches courses on Spanish language courses (grammar, writing, medical interpretation) and Latinx Studies. He is also the supervisor of the Spanish Language Program. His research interests focus on 20th and 21st century Latin American literature and representations of queer figures written before, during, and after the dictatorships in Chile and Argentina. His work examines how they negotiate power, space, and identity in the post-dictatorship era.
