Graduate Student, Educational Theory and Practice Chasity Tompkins is a three-time graduate of The University of Georgia earning a BSA in agricultural and applied economics, Masters of Agricultural and Environmental Education, and M.Ed. in Workforce Education. Currently, Tompkins is a PhD Candidate in Educational Theory and Practice with an emphasis in middle grades education at the University of Georgia. Her research interests include positive youth development, Hope Theory, environmental education, agricultural literacy, and non-traditional educational programs. She works as a Family and Consumer Sciences Program Assistant for Rockdale County Extension focusing on healthy lifestyle choices. Chasity is also an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor.
