Graduate Student, Mental Health Counseling

Alondra is a first-year mental health counseling student who is passionate about incorporating social justice in their work through activism, knowledge production, and dissemination. Alondra intends to work with underserved communities in ways that are adequate to diverse experiences and identities. As a graduate assistant with the. DAE. Alondra works with the TRIO Student Support Services/ STEM-H Programs, helping first-generation, low-income students in their academic and professional development at UGA. As a first-generation, low-income student themself, Alondra is grateful to be in a position to guide and support other students through higher education.
