This course will expose students to current research in women's and gender studies by requiring them to attend seminars sponsored or approved by the Women's Studies Program. Non-traditional format: One hour seminar. Students may take this course in conjunction with their enrollment in a 3-credit women's studies class. Students are required to attend eight seminars and to write eight response papers for one credit hour.

The University of Georgia Institute for Women’s Studies provides a feminist interdisciplinary perspective on women and gender. Administratively a program in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, Women’s Studies cooperates with departments of all schools and colleges of the University in developing its curriculum and programming.
