They envision a future where gender self-determination and authentic expression are seen as basic rights and matters of common human dignity.

NYC Trans Oral History Project
A collective, community archive working to document transgender resistance and resilience in New York City. A collaboration between The New York Public Library and the NYC Trans Oral History Project "to collect, preserve, and share oral histories from our city's transgender and gender non-conforming communities." Listen to these powerful stories that discuss everything from race to dis/ability to housing migration.

Digital Transgender Archive
"The purpose of the Digital Transgender Archive (DTA) is to increase the accessibility of transgender history by providing an online hub for digitized historical materials, born-digital materials, and information on archival holdings throughout the world." Based in Worcester, Massachusetts at the College of the Holy Cross, the DTA is an international collaboration among more than fifty colleges, universities, nonprofit organizations, public libraries, and private collections. By digitally localizing a wide range of trans-related materials, the DTA attempts to expand access to trans history for academics and independent researchers alike in order to foster education and dialog concerning trans history.

Trans Women of Color Collective
Trans Women of Color Collective (TWOCC) is a national organizing collective led by trans women of color created to uplift the narratives, leadership, and lived experiences of trans and gender non conforming people of color.

A national social justice organization working to overcome violence and injustice in the world through the power, value and  love of all people.

TransLatin@ Coalition

National Center for Transgender Equality
The National Center for Transgender Equality is the nation’s leading social justice advocacy organization winning life-saving change for transgender people.  NCTE was founded in 2003 by transgender activists who recognized the urgent need for policy change to advance transgender equality.

Trans Student Educational Resources (TSER)
Trans Student Educational Resources is a youth-led organization dedicated to transforming the educational environment for trans and gender nonconforming students through advocacy and empowerment.

SPART*A is a group of LGBT people who currently serve or have served in the military and our families as well as veteran and uniformed allies. They are a membership organization, built by, for and with members from all parts of the LGBT military community.
