GLOBES is the Gay, Lesbian, or Bisexual Employees and Supporters of the University of Georgia and welcomes gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff, as well as our many supporters.
Pride Alliance (formerly Lambda Alliance) is a LGBTQA+ student-led organization open to all LGBTQIAPO+ students, allies, and advocates! First established in 1971 as the Committee on Gay Education (CGE), came into being in order to meet the needs of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students.
Safe Space Program
Campus-wide initiative that offers a visible message of inclusion, acceptance, and support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in the UGA community. The program offers a three-hour orientation to raise awareness and knowledge of LGBT issues and to suggest ways to serve as an ally to LGBT individuals.
