The director of the Institute for Women's Studies at UGA, Dr. Juanita Johnson-Bailey, and program coordinator, Terri L. Hatfield, were interviewed for an article in Diverse Issues in Higher Education.

We are sad to hear of the passing of Dr. Louise McBee. She was one of the founders of Women’s Studies at the University of Georgia and an ardent supporter.   

The faculty and staff of the Institute for Women’s Studies extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends.
