Image: Dr. Patricia Richards has been appointed the next Director of the Institute for Women's Studies, effective August 1, 2022. Per Dean Dorsey's memo: I know that she has the support of the Institute and that she will be an effective advocate for Women’s Studies on campus. All of us in the Dean’s Office look forward to working with her. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Juanita Johnson-Bailey. We are grateful for her dedicated service for more than a decade during which time the Institute has made significant strides in scope and national presence. We wish her well as she returns full-time to the faculty.
