Chandra Echols is the Business Manager for the Institute for Women’s Studies. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the University of Georgia in 2003. Chandra continued her education and obtained a Master of Accounting and Financial Management in 2009 and a Master of Information Systems in 2012 while working at Synovus Financial Corporation as a Financial Analyst. After leaving the banking industry Chandra began her career at the University of Georgia in March 2014. Prior to joining the Institute for Women’s Studies in April 2017, she worked for Auxiliary Services/UGA Golf Course and the Human Resources Department.
Chandra provides administrative and financial support to the department. She serves as assistant to the Director and the liaison for Women’s Studies. She manages the daily operations of the department and is responsible for supervision of the office staff.
