Graduate Teaching Assistant

Carly Leilani Fabian is a PhD candidate studying rhetoric. She earned her B.A. in Communication at the University of Colorado Denver, and her M.A. in Communication Studies from Colorado State University. She is interested in the mutual entanglements of technology, sexuality, and transnational politics. Her training emphasizes feminist public address and rhetorical criticism, and she is earning a certificate in Women's Studies.

Carly earned the Sonja K. Foss Award for Academic Excellence in 2016 for writing, teaching assistance, and service. While still an undergraduate, Carly acted as an official liaison for students in the International College Beijing's exchange program, facilitating intercultural exchange in both China and the United States.
