IWS celebrates 25 years of Friday Speaker Series

The Institute for Women's Studies at the University of Georgia marked a quarter century of Friday Speaker Series presentations on Friday, January 25, 2013. Marjanne Goozé, Germanic and Slavic Studies, and Heather Kleiner, former Associate Director of the Institute for Women's Studies, gave a presentation entitled, "Celebrating 25 Years: The History of the Friday Speaker Series" in which they reminised the beginning of this colloquia series, as well as how it has strengthened through the years.
