A Girl's World
Launched in June of 1996, A Girl's World Online Clubhouse has among several goals: To encourage and empower 7-17 year old girls to become active contributors, not passive consumers of media and the Internet.
Amelia Bloomer Project
Part of the Feminist Task Force, American Library Association, compiles annual lists of recommended feminist books for youth (since 2002).
National public education campaign sponsored by the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services to encourage and empower 9- to 14- year old girls. Site includes games, a diary, sports links, and a section for adults who care about girls.
