Kellie Carter Jackson Africana Studies Wellesley College About Kellie Carter Jackson Tue, 03/26/2024 - 4:00pm Special Collections Library, Room 271 Women's History Month Every March, the Institute for Women's Studies coordinates and co-sponsors lectures, films, discussion panels, art exhibits, and more for Women’s History Month as well as publishes a poster highlighting those events. The keynote speech is the culminating event of Women's History month. This year's keynote will be presented by Dr. Kellie Carter Jackson, a nationally known historian, speaker and educator. Her talk is titled "We Refuse: Black Women and a History of Resistance."
