Graduate Student, Social Work

Jennie completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Gender and Sexuality, with minors in Women’s Studies and Community Health, in 2016 at Georgia College & State University. She earned a Master of Social Work and Master of Education in Human Sexuality from Widener University in 2019.

She developed her passion for social work through extensive volunteer work, especially with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the national service sorority Gamma Sigma Sigma, and A.N.G.E.L.S. (AIDS Now Grasps Every Living Soul). Her interests include intimate partner violence prevention and services, sexual assault prevention and services, sexual minorities, LGBTQ identities, HIV/AIDS, and sexual health. Currently she works at a domestic violence shelter, where she facilitates the teen support group.
